::Fortunes and Misfortunes of the Famous Spaghetti Italia::
From the Sixties Italian Pastas spreaded their names and taste across the world. On the contrary, civilisation fell behind the economic boom of the sixties. Polesine, with its "Polenta and Zucchine", Florence with its "Pappardelle". "Paccheri" are found in Sarno, which underwent a mudslide in 1998; in 2016 the earthquake that razed to ground Amatrice, then the avalanche of Rigopiano in 2017, Abruzzo, up to the collapsed bridge in Genova in 2018: there you can't miss "Bavette al Pesto". Not to mention other earthquakes. Many people have died and die, anything learnt, but what are taxes used for? Who controls who controls? What the degree of our civilisation?
1 - Polenta e Zucchini
Polenta e Zucchini to remember the flooding of Polesine on 14th November 1959. 100 people died, 180000 people displaced.
3 - Pappardelle Fiorentine
On the 4th November of 1966 Firenze, the birthplace of Renaissance Age, suffered from the most ruinous flooding of the River Arno. This famous town, with a gem like Ponte Vecchio, and the surrounding towns lose 35 people, 42.000 people were displaced.
4 - Paccheri Campani
Between 5 and 6 May of 1998, Sarno and Quindici, in Campania, were flooded by a mudslide due to human misbehaviour, i.e. burning the vegetation that kept the soil stable. 87 people died, 1570 displaced.
5 - Bucatini all'Amatriciana
249 dead from Amatrice and Accumoli in 2016. Earthquakes seem to have found their cradle in Italy, notwithstanding the cyclic repetition of such events, the laws and the lessons the different Governments should have learnt, postwar period houses continue to fall down. Less damages to ancient buildings. Who controls who controls?
6 - Maccheroncini d'Abruzzo
The 17 January of the year 2017, 29 people died in an avalanche that destroyed the "Hotel Rigopiano" in Abruzzo. Abruzzo gave birth the world known word "Maccheroni". Was the Hotel to be built there? Who should deny the building of a hotel close to a mountain slope where usually a great quantity of snow accumulates?
7 - Pesto alla Genovese
This last, in order of time, disaster of italian civic alienation: 39 dead and many families without their houses until the time that the rest of the bridge "Ponte Morandi" will be torn down. This very important bridge dates back to 1960. This tragedy happened on the 14 August of 2018. But when turning TV on, almost always the typical "Pesto" is present.
